Audit Senior
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. This role involves leading audit engagements for various clients, with a focus on non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GAAP, while also assessing internal controls and managing risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning to completion for non-profit organizations
- Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and GAAP
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies
- Assess internal controls and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
- Manage grant management processes and financial reporting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audits
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning for clients
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit, specifically with non-profit organizations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Experience with financial statements and financial reporting
- Familiarity with tax-exempt entities and grant management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
