With offices in Tucson and Sierra Vista and more than 52 years of expertise building projects for both public and private clients, we are a heavy civil construction company that is entirely owned by its employees. Our experience ranges from new construction, rebuilding existing ones, and upgrading booster stations and water distribution systems. In addition to new sewer and pump station construction, we also carry out general site development, roadway excavation, site grading, asphalt paving, site & structural concrete, bridge building, street lighting, intersection improvements, traffic signalization, infrastructure development, landscape improvement & irrigation, sanitary sewer conveyance system modifications, pump station repairs & rehabilitation, utility hole rehabilitation-reconstruction, emergency repairs, and more.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and lead our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple large scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and resources as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the civil or commercial construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing $10MM+ projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Professional certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
