Position Overview
Based in Minneapolis, MN, we are a leader in Architecture and Design Engineering services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Electrical Engineering to lead our electrical engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical power systems design. This role will involve overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the electrical engineering team in the design and implementation of electrical power systems.
Oversee the development of project specifications and ensure compliance with architectural and structural engineering requirements.
Conduct cost/value analysis to optimize project budgets and resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.
Drive business development efforts to expand the company's portfolio and client base.
Review and approve electrical designs and documentation for accuracy and feasibility.
Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance their skills and career growth.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Proven experience in electrical engineering and systems design.
Strong knowledge of architectural and structural engineering principles.
Experience in cost/value analysis and project management.
Demonstrated business development skills and ability to build client relationships.
RCDD Certification is a plus.
Proficiency in design engineering tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
