Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial electrical construction and design-build projects. This is a key role in our preconstruction team, responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates that reflect our high standards and help us win and deliver exceptional work.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects, including design-build.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and design documents to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field operations to ensure alignment between estimates and execution.
Evaluate project risks, value engineering opportunities, and constructability.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Participate in bid reviews and client presentations.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical estimating, with a focus on commercial construction and design-build delivery.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction practices.
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, or similar).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
