Loan Processor

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. The Loan Processor will play a critical role in the mortgage lending process by reviewing and verifying loan applications, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines, and facilitating communication between lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various loan types, including VA, FHA, Non-QM, and Jumbo loans, and be able to manage multiple files efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify borrower information and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Communicate with borrowers, lenders, and third-party vendors to facilitate the loan process
  • Prepare and organize loan files for underwriting
  • Monitor loan status and provide updates to relevant parties
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the processing stage
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in the loan processing system
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in loan processing or mortgage lending
  • Strong understanding of VA, FHA, Non-QM, and Jumbo loans
  • Familiarity with loan processing software and technology
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
