Position Overview
The Mechanical Project Manager will be crucial in managing and overseeing mechanical projects from start to finish. Our typical projects range from $7M to $14M and involve significant mechanical installations, including piping and hydronic systems, chillers, and more, primarily for clients in the medical and healthcare sectors. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management proficiency, and leadership skills to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all mechanical design and project activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of projects.
  • Technical Oversight: Supervise the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and hydronic systems.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments to mitigate project risks and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and quality objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to facilitate project success.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing commercial mechanical projects.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing large and complex projects.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management software and tools.
