R&D Tax Senior

Position Overview
The R&D Tax Senior is responsible for leading and managing tax incentive projects, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while optimizing tax credits for clients. This role involves conducting financial analysis, preparing tax returns, and providing documentation support, all while maintaining strong client relations and project management oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage R&D tax incentive projects for clients
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify eligible tax credits
  • Prepare and review tax returns related to R&D activities
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding tax incentives
  • Develop and maintain documentation supporting tax credit claims
  • Provide technical writing and guidance on tax planning strategies
  • Support clients during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Foster strong client relations through effective communication and project management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in tax, with a focus on R&D tax incentives
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
  • Experience with tax planning and compliance
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and cost accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare tax returns and related documentation
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Proficient in maintaining client relations and providing audit support
