Job Title: Civil Professional Engineer - (Senior Engineer/Project Manager)
Location: Palm Beach or Broward County.
Salary: $120,000 - 180,000 + generous bonus & profit sharing.
Requirements: Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida. Experience in private (primarily site development design for multi-family, or site design of facilities for higher Ed -College/university) or public projects. Public projects would be water & sewer, local roadway, site facilities design, stormwater management/drainage.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Professional Engineer - Project Manager to lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion. Must have 15+ years Florida PE experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with expertise in geotechnical engineering, site development, and regulatory compliance, ensuring projects meet all technical and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee civil engineering projects from planning through execution and completion.
Conduct geotechnical investigations and prepare site development plans.
Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards during project execution.
Lead project meetings, coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
Perform cost estimation and develop project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
Provide engineering design support throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on structural design and site development.
Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality control and that work is completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
15+ years of experience in civil engineering project management.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and site development principles.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes.
Demonstrated ability in cost estimation and project budgeting.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
