Job Title: Tax Manager 
Location: Hybrid 2-3 days
Salary: $140k -1200k + Annual Bonuses + Full Benefits 
Requirements: Must have Active CPA or EA, and currently be a SR. Tax Manager / Tax Manager
 

We are a local CPA firm located in Birmingham, MI. Our work culture is dedicated to collaboration and inclusivity, and we thrive by our work hard play hard model. We work with entities of all sizes including HNWIs, s-corps, c-corps, and other pass-through entities. 

We are growing quickly and looking to grow our family of CPAs so we can keep the workload to a minimum. We know public accounting can be hectic so we do what we can to keep you within the 40-45 hour range year round. We are a small firm but we have a large firm type of clients. We always look to promote within before finding outside talent, so we are looking for individuals looking to Quickly become a Partner and set in for one of our Partners who just retired.

What you Need:

  • 4+ Years in Public Accounting
  • Active CPA or EA
  • Expertise in Business and Individual Tax 
    • Privately Held Businesses
    • HNWIs, Partnerships, s-corps, trust & estate, some c-corps
  • Experience Training, Mentoring, and Supervising Multi-Person Teams

What you will be doing:

  • Generalist
  • Small business
  • Partnership, S- Corp, C-Corp, Individual
  • Client Management - Direct Contact with clients for tax planning, consulting, and identifying tax issues
  • Researching Complex Tax Issues
  • Train & Mentor Team of multiple levels of employees
  • Managing Multiple Engagements for Multiple Clients at all times

Base Salary: $140,000-$200,000
