Tax Supervisor

Position Overview
The Tax Supervisor will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to all tax regulations while optimizing tax strategies. This role is crucial in providing expert guidance in tax matters and managing a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns for various entities including S-Corps, C-Corps, and partnerships.
Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring their professional development and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with clients to resolve tax-related issues and provide proactive solutions.
Stay updated on tax law changes and evaluate their impact on clients' tax positions.
Conduct complex tax research and prepare detailed tax memorandums.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on public accounting.
Proven experience in managing tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, and partnerships.
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
