Workers' Compensation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Attorney to represent clients in various workers' compensation claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the laws and regulations governing workers' compensation and will be responsible for providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and negotiations
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy
  • Prepare and file legal documents and pleadings in a timely manner
  • Advise clients on their rights and options regarding workers' compensation claims
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients with insurance companies and opposing parties
  • Manage case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and experts to support client cases
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the state
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation litigation
  • Strong litigation and client representation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and case management processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and settlement negotiations is a plus
